Mark Birdsell has been practicing law for the past 13 years. Mark started his legal career in New York working for a large full-service law firm. Upon returning to Toronto, Mark began practicing in personal injury law. His practice has involved representing both plaintiffs and defendants. For the past 10 years, Mark has worked for a well-respected insurance defence firm, handling a variety of civil litigation matters.
Mark’s practice has included claims based on motor vehicle accident litigation, occupiers’ liability, long-term disability, WSIB, priority dispute, product liability and property damage claims.
As a lawyer, one of Mark’s main goals is to proactively negotiate settlements in order to best serve the needs of his clients.
Mark strives to discuss lawsuits in a straight-forward and honest manner, while still being compassionate and understanding of the impact that litigation has on individuals.
Outside of the law, Mark has a passion for sports. In his free time, Mark enjoys writing and is a contributor for an online publication which focuses on the NBA and his hometown Toronto Raptors.

Mark has a B.A. Honours from Western University (2006) and a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law (2009).
Mark is a member of both the Ontario bar and the New York State bar.
